Hi!

I'm getting the following error message (full logs below)
as well as DMA errors:
tveeprom 1-0050: Encountered bad packet header [ff].
Corrupt or not a Hauppauge eeprom.

Everything used to work under SuSE 10.0 with vanilla 2.6.16.17 kernel.
Yes, never change... , I know!

However, I could not resist and upgraded to SuSE 10.1. Ever since,
the eeprom of the PVR350 cannot be read anymore (see logs below).

While a distribution upgrade might not affect kernel drivers
directly, it still does. SuSE 10.1 ships with gcc-4.1 while
10.0 featured 4.0. Could this be causing all the problems?

In the logs you might notice a different kernel, 2.6.16.22.
I've tried both 2.6.16.17 and 2.6.16.22 with combinations of ivtv-0.6.2,
0.6.3 and SVN rev 3361, all under SuSE 10.1 compiled with gcc-4.1.
No luck with any setup. :-(

The PVR350 itself does work. Verified by putting the card in a
different PC running XP and the Hauppauge TV2000 program.
