I have a new card that is not recognized. In addition there is other odd
behavior. On both the first and second card, the driver reports that it is
the second unit of a PVR 500.

I can't get the card to work. I am running SUSE 10.1 with ivtv-0.6.3
compiled with (raise the flag please) gcc 4.1.0-25 and the suse built
2.6.16.13-default kernel. I added the ID to the ivtv_pci_pvr150[] list and
that makes the unknown card message go away but it still doesn't work.

Does the card need to be added somewhere else also or do other changes need
to be made?

Right now only one card works at all. It has complete static on lower
channels but only slight static on upper channels. Audio is good on all
channels and it seems to tune to the correct frequencies for us-cable.

What problems does compiling with gcc 3.x solve? Do I have to recompile the
kernel with gcc 3.x if I recompile ivtv with gcc 3.x?

Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
