Hi Geeks It is quite possible that this issue was already discussed but I could not find the answer so far. I could build and install IVTV 0.6.3 as well as the latest 0.6.x version but when I load the ivtv driver it fails with:
ivtv: Unknown symbol tveeprom_read ivtv: Unknown symbol tveeprom_hauppauge_analog which is the ouput of 'dmesg | grep ivtv'. modprobe ivtv send this message: FATAL: Error inserting ivtv (/lib/modules/2.6.16.13-4-default/kernel/drivers/media/video/ivtv.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) I try to install IVTV on SuSE 10.1 on an AMD64 system with a Hauppauge PVR-350 card. Kernel version is '2.6.16.13-4-default'. Any ideas?
