I recently trying to capture mpeg2 TS data from my PVR350 card. There are
some thing looks like uncleared about this product.
I'm using 0.4.10 on kernel 2.6.12. When I do cat /dev/video0 > tmp.mpg, I
can capture mpeg1 and mpeg2-PS (by using ivtvctl -c command). but when
capturing TS data, the data can not be played at all. VLC report all data as
"garbage data".
On Windows, WinTV2000 disabled the choice of Transport Stream while ivtv
still can set the stream type 1 (the TS).
I'm wondering is this feature actually exist in current PVR350 board or not
at all. Is there some people trying the same efforts? Any share of your
comments are highly appreciated.
