Hello all,
I am in the process of upgrading my mythtv box to
ubuntu feisty, and upon getting myth up and running, i
found to my dismay that all the analog channels are
scrambled (looks like the old 'premium' cable channels
used to when you didn't have a decoder)
I tried setting the standard to PAL and back to NTSC,
and that didn't help. i also tried tweaking the
frequencies, but that didn't help either. Removing the
antenna cable made it display 'scrambled snow', so
that's not the problem.
The card was moved from a working system, and the
composite-in seems to be working ok, so it's a tuner
or digitizer problem i think. The old (working)
version was .6.4.
Incidentally, this is a really old card, and in fact
is the card that ivtv tv-out was first developed on :)
I'd like not to have to throw it out.
Anyone found and fixed this before? Ideas?
