I know that this is a very late reply, but similar reports have cropped
up lately.
Does it still happen? Can you load the tuner module with option debug=1
and report which messages you get? As you say, it looks like a kernel
tuner problem, not ivtv in particular. And it seems to be specific to
this tuner as well. However, I cannot find any changes that occurred
between 2.6.16 and 2.6.20 that are relevant to this tuner.
