The video flickered for minute or so and then has continued to play, not hang as it had done before, for the hour that I've left it running. As you say, > Playback isn't entirely smooth, but perceptually, it's not bad at all. The sound has slowly degenerated to constantly stuttering. I can still make out the dialog, but it has an intermittent quality.
