Sorry to keep spamming the list. I've done some more testing and work on it tonight. I've found that:
1) a cold boot will often render the cards unusable (or even a "warm boot" or reboot). 2) If I unload the modules and manually load the two as listed, I can get back to the state I was at the beginning of this e-mail (tuner #2 works, tuner #1 doesn't). 3) The firmware loading messages happen when I first use that tuner 4) I am no longer getting any tuner firmware loading problems Also, the failure mode of tuner 1 has changed somewhat: It is now black with periodic red/blue static and no sound. There's no picture under the static or other evidence to indicate it has tuned. Is there any settings I can/should tweak to help this out? Is it possible/likely that its an i2c problem or something similar?
