I looked into this and even tried doing a modload in /etc/rc still the same symptom.Also read this thread about ordering of modules.

This seems to say it's ordering of your modules, possibly bttv related.
This seems to very wierd. If you or anyone else would like to look into this i could provide an account on the machine for you. Just tell me.
