Brian,

Ive tried ivtv-0.2.0-rc3f, ivtv-0.2.0-rc3d, and ivtv-0.3.2d, none seem
to work. Im currently using ivtv-0.2.0-rc3f. Also I'm not sure if i
am using the tuner module provided with ivtv. I have just been doing
make && make install in the driver directory. Ive downloaded the
video4linux snapshots and done a make && make install for the
snapshots as well. In the ivtv outpt in /var/log/messages, no errors
are reported.

... when grepping for ivtv (because the errors would occur in lines marked "tuner: " :)

Please attach initialization information generated using the following script:

tac /var/log/messages |
sed -n '/=\ \ END INIT IVTV\ \ =/,/= START INIT IVTV =/p;
       /= START INIT IVTV =/q' |
tac

assuming your system log is /var/log/messages. To use dmesg, change the first line to:

dmesg | tac |

Mike

here is the output from dmesg |grep ivtv:

Hi,
First I'd like to thank everyone that is working on the ivtv project.
I have a PVR 350 Tuner Type 47 card. I can not get the card to work
on Linux, but the card works fine under Windows (as Cable HRC).
I have been trying for several weeks to get the card to work on Debian
Unstable, Fedora Core 2 & 3, and Suse 9.1 & 8.2. I have been posting
messages on forums online and have been googling for solutions, but I
can not find anyone who is having the same problems as me.

I am currently running Debian Unstable kernel 2.6.11 rc3. I am using
the firmware suggested by ckennedy. when I try tuning with
ptune-ui.pl all channels come in as static on all the different ntsc
cable types. I am pretty sure I have a type 47 tuner. When I peal
the sticker off the card it says

TAPE-H091F
409B 1703
NTSC/NTSC-J
48132
rev. K268.

Please let me know if you need any outputs, II will gladly provide them.

You didn't tell us what version of ivtv you are using. Or if you are
using the tuner module that comes with ivtv (which shouldn't work btw).
Also, there was someone yesterday that was complaining about a 350
+tuner47. Might want to see what they came up with.

Thanks again for everyone who is working on the ivtv project.
