Hi All,
Is this was still the best method for watching movies via ivtv:
mplayer -cache 8196 -fs -framedrop -autosync 30 -vo ivtvosd -vf expand=720:576 Movie.avi
It gives watchable stuff...however I get motion jerkiness with a lot of screen change. Ditching the expand gets rid of it, but the pict is annoyingly at the top of the screen with a letterbox format movie
Anyone any thoughts on how to get a better performance from MPlayer? Spent the last two hours trying to get mplayer fbdev output working to compare, but no dice. MythTV is perfect.
