This is re-released with the vbi-insert fix, so should re-download it if already grabbed it, seems to have been a bug which may have bitten people without a clue as to what was going on, but this explains some things. Possibly certain systems having DMA buffer problems, with the STEALING BUFFER messages, could have just been hit with this, also would have driven CPU up a bit I believe in the past, but also just ran VBI and embedded into the mpeg sometime by default.
