Isn't tuner type 58 incorrect? For a PVR 150, I think it should be 57.

Tuner type 58 is definitely wrong for NTSC, but not all PVR-150s are type 57 (my retail PVR150 nonMCE is a 50). Best just to let the driver read the eeprom and decide for itself, unless it has problems. I have nothing in my modprobe.conf and both my PVR250 and 150 work without a problem in the same box.

Thanks for the tip, Bryan; I had no idea that PVR150's had different tuners (that makes no sense to me, but perhaps this is more common than I think). I have
a nonMCE retail version, and its tuner is 57, or so I think. Everything is working fine in terms of picture and audio, anyway. Perhaps I should remove the
tuner specification in my modprobe.conf and let it autodetect to see what happens.
