Hi!

I'm using a Hauppauge PVR 150 with remote. The card works fine with the
tuner patch, but in the channels.conf (vdr) I have to set all frequencies
7MHz lower as they physically are. But this is not why I'm writing.

It's that the remote only works, when I previously booted Windows XP MCE2005
with original Hauppauge drivers from a secound HD and then rebooted with my
debian 2.4.27-ctvdr-1 vdr system. After rebooting from Win XP I see echos
from irw, but when I do a cold boot I get a connection refuse.

Here I have posted the two ivtv extracts for both variants:

after a cold boot:
i2c-core.o: driver i2c ir driver registered.
i2c-core.o: driver cx25840 registered.
cx25840: starting probe for adapter ivtv i2c driver #0 (0x10005)

after rebooting from Windows XP:
i2c-core.o: driver i2c ir driver registered.
lirc_i2c: chip found @ 0x71 (Hauppauge IR (PVR150))
ivtv: i2c attach [client=Hauppauge IR (PVR150),ok]
i2c-core.o: client [Hauppauge IR (PVR150)] registered to adapter [ivtv i2c
driver #0](pos. 2).
lirc_dev: lirc_register_plugin:sample_rate: 10
i2c-core.o: driver cx25840 registered.
cx25840: starting probe for adapter ivtv i2c driver #0 (0x10005)

I tried different ivtv versions and tried to load the modules i2c-dev,
lirc_i2c and ivtv in different orders, but with no success.

I'm free for any sugestions that might help me.

Here my ivtv debug after a cold boot:
