The radio feature is great (!) – is there an ui that works with mythtv?

" again gives me only snow, regardless of what channel i tune into (feeding cable
broadcast). The command gave me proper video before I installed and used ivtv-radio (not
100% sure of the cause and effect, though)

Replying to my own question for any other newbies out there
the ivtv-${version}/utils directory has the radio and much more
(the utilities had failed to compile for me with previous versions)
