Hi, I have some questions hopefully someone can answer that'll help in
decision making about which capture card to buy here. I'm currently
running Myth with a bt878 card but am looking to move to one of these
Hauppauge cards for various reasons.
I see the past messages regarding passthrough on the wiki and past posts
to this lists but can't find any info about its current status and
limitations. Main question is, can the driver passthrough video/audio
and record/encode simultaneously in real time? It would be very nice to
be able to eliminate Myth's incessant disk writing for live TV playback,
and if the 350 card can accomplish this would also allow me to keep
using my cable provider's (superior to Myth) program guide and pay per
view interface.
In short can I use a PVR 350 as a passthrough device with this driver
now and retain recording functionality at the same time?
