The card's composite input works fine now, and I've tried the coax cable I'm
using on a TV, producing a good signal. There's definitely a change in the
display when I connect and disconnect the cable (although its always
unintelligible), but changing channels through ptune-ui.pl or mythtv doesn't
change the display. I've changed the inputs from 1 through 7, although 4 is
definitely my tuner input, and I've searched the mailing lists for similar
problems. Here's my stats:
The output from dmesg doesn't show tveeprom output (which I'm not
sure that it would since it isn't a hauppauge card). I don't think
that's the problem though.
The "client ID 0x02 not found" is the tuner. For some reason it isn't
setting the tuner type or sucessfully probing for a tuner. Note that
there aren't any messages like "tuner: chip found at addr 0xc2 i2c-bus
ivtv i2c driver #0" or "ivtv: i2c attach [client=(tuner unset),ok]".
Maybe try forcing the tuner type?
