Is it worse than the old drivers ? Looking at the log files shows a register 
that's set slightly different to PAL. With the old driver this register was 
never touched, but it's now used and I use the PAL default as the base 
reference. Going by the setting it's being changed from, this will introduce 
a slight alignment error for NTSC users which could result in a ghosting 
effect.

For Myth, do not use GUI size for TV playback (Setup -> Appearance). Ensure 
both horizontal over/underscan and scan displacement (X) are both set to 0
(Setup -> TV Settings > Playback). I get the impression that the exact effect 
of these settings may depend on which build of myth you're using. I'm running 
an old CVS build and scan displacement only works if the resulting image 
doesn't exceed a screen boundary.
