Where exactly do I put this in? In modprobe.conf? As I said in my last mail,
I'm loading the modules manually right now, but I'd like to do them from
modprobe.conf. What lines should I insert into modprobe.conf? Do I need to
load each of the drivers individually?
Your modprobe.conf (as far as ivtv is concerned) should just be
options ivtv cardtype=6
nothing for tuner, tveeprom, wm8775, msp3400, saa7115, saa7127, or
cx25840. Then you should just be able to `modprobe ivtv` and everything
should load properly. That assumes you have no modules loaded at the
time too, otherwise clear them out first:
/sbin/rmmod -f ivtv wm8775 cx25840 tuner tveeprom msp3400 saa7115 saa7127
