I have been using ivtv-0.2.0 with my PVR250 card to watch TV and to try
and copy my VHS tapes to DVD. I am experiencing distortion along the
very bottom of the recorded image. I decided to upate ivtv and see if
that would help. I uninstalled the 0.2 and installed the 0.3.7g from rpm
using the Mandrivia cooker. I am using Mandriva 2005LE. In 0.2, ptune
and record were in /usr/lib/ivtv and was a simple matter to use them. In
0.3 there are now 5 more directories and I have no idea how to change a
channel or record or setup. I cannot find ptune and record. I have found
no documentation. Mplayer still plays the TV. However, I can not change
the channel.
I would certainly be very happy to work with a developer to make this
user friendly.
