??? ptune and record are in the utils directory. I'm not sure what the
problem is.
I personally wouldn't mind if someone took the step to convert them to
C/C++ programs. I don't like scripts were you first have to install other
packages to use them. Esp. TkPerl which I never could get running on my
Linux-from-Scratch system. Just my honest opinion...
