Try to use another kernel, either older (<= 2.6.11) or newer (>=
2.6.13). I've had lots of weird problems and crashes with 2.6.12. Both
at home and at work. After upgrading to 2.6.13 it's been rock solid
again. I think 2.6.12 is broken somehow.
