I think with the 2.6.15 kernel, you must use the tveeprom and tuner from the kernel, so remove the two alias lines for those from your modprobe.conf.

Can Someone please help me.
Ever since I upgraded my system (yum update) I can not load the firmware into my PVR-250 and PVR-500 cards. Both these cards have work perfectly for three months prior to the upgrade.
I am a novice to Linux, but have been actively trying to fix the problem by reading ivtv and mythtv user threads. I have also reported the problem to ATrpms as a bug but was told that they could not reproduce the bug.
In an effort to fix the problems I have yum un-installed all the ivtv drivers, yum cleared all, and reinstalled them. I am afraid this may have lead to more problems, as over the past two weeks of trying to fix the problem driver versions have changed.
When I originally set up my FC4 machine to be a mythTV backend I followed Jarrod Wilson's instructions with great success. After un-installing the ivtv drivers I followed the lastest Wilson instructions to reinstall the drivers with no success.
I then read the ivtv How to for FC4 and they noted that Wilson's guide was not up to date with the current standard, so I un-installed the ivtv drivers and reinstalled them using the ivtv How to.
Futher Alex T at ATrpm gave me some instructions on how to fix the problem when I reported the upgrade problem as a bug. These did not fix the problem
I am afraid what I have now is a mixed up mess of half solutions. I need someone who knows what they are doing to walking through getting the mess I have straightened up and my video capture cards and mythTV working again. My family is having to watch broadcast TV for the past two weeks and they are starting to crack! This can't go on much longer. Please help!
