I went ahead and installed a clean Linux version: 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 trying
to find out if it makes any difference. I compared the ivtv init with the
2.6.15-1.1833_FC4 version (after shuffling some lines). The only difference
it came up with was this..
(v2.6.15)

This didn't show up in v2.6.11

It probably means nothing but you never know. Below I'll included both

Hans, it looks like the cx25840 driver isn't loaded. any chance to force
load it?
I can't imagine the card is broken. I'm converting my Windows Mediacenter
box into a mythtv box. It worked the other day.
