Hi all!
Yesterday I got my new PVR500, put it in my barebone (Athlon XP, VIA KM400
running CentOS 4.3) and installed the driver (0.4.6, latest firmware and no
module options). After reboot ivtv has been loaded and dmesg output looks ok.
I can set both tuners using ivtv-tune, and even "cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg".
But trying any other output - peng, the system freezes within 2 seconds. Power
management has been disabled, as in the docs - no difference.

Today I tried the card in another system (P4, Intel chipset running FC4 and
ivtv 0.7.0) - everything works as expected.
Any chance that this is driver or kernel related and not caused by the VIA
mainboard?
