I've been futzing with my pvr-500 for some time now, and have yet to get any clear picture. I even had hauppauge replace the first one I had. The one I have now still displays the same symptoms as the one before, i.e. grainy or fuzzy picture on SOME channels only (but always the same ones).
tveeprom 0-0050: Hauppauge model 23552, rev D587, serial# 8898084 tveeprom 0-0050: tuner model is Samsung TCPN 2121P30A (idx 87, type 70) I'm about ready to send the 500 back to hauppauge and demand either a refund or two 150's... I can only recommend staying away from the 500's. jan On Oct 8, 2006, at 11:39 AM, Bill Hoover wrote: > I have a MythTV box built from FC5 and ATrpms.
