While I dont know the policy enough, I think having a 2nd proposal and a

2nd project would be too much work. Should be done inside this proposal.


I agree. Could someone else confirm it makes sense to migrate IvyDE as a sub
module of Ivy?

Yes, it makes good sense. From an ASF point of view it is fine, however, I gather from this discussion that the IvyDE code was not a part of the IVY codebase that was the subject of the original proposal. With this in mind, I would recommend posting to the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list stating your intentions and stating that lazy consensus is in operation, in other words, you will go ahead with bringing over the code unless someone objects within 3 days (possibly longer it being a weekend).

Alternatively, wait for an answer from one of your official mentors.

Of course, you will have to ensure all relevant license grants were in place before copying code over.

Finally, as a new user of Ivy and IvyDE, I would encourage this move.
