See the log from their svn repository :

moved smb and webdav to sandbox

So I guess we should either ask them to put their sandbox in gump, or use a
static package.

or start with static and then push for the sandbox to join gump.

NB:
- In http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/gump/metadata/project/ivy.xml, the
package is wrong.

harmless. I can fix it, if nobody else does; its only for the view-by-package page.

- What I didn't understand on the page
http://vmgump.apache.org/gump/public/ivy/ivy/index.html is the first success
the 25 september ?

It could just be there was a stub entry created then.

One thing to remember with gump is that it sets up ant's classpath. so all projects using ivy still need to set their path up with gump in parallel. Using the ivy tasks still lets you order your build, (unless you also hand that off to gump), and to test that svn head gump hasnt broken your build. Oh, and to let things downstream get your published artifacts and create distributables.
