This is also a real show stopper at my company. I've been encouraging people to consider ivy, but lack of this feature turns people off in a big way. Its the biggest blocker to adoption for me.

This is something that is not decided yet, but this issue has the highest number of votes, and is definitely in Ivy's spirit of flexibility, so I'd say that the probability is very high to see it in 2.0 final.
