Thought of creating a JIRA issue for this topic for tracking purposes.
XML Schema 1.1 requires that simpleType xs:list and xs:union cannot refer to
special simple types xs:anyAtomicType and xs:anySimpleType, in their itemType
and memberTypes attributes respectively.
We did an implementation of this schema 1.1 constraint, post Xerces 2.11.0
release.
