Well, since it seems that nobody knows how to run from the gnu/linux JabRef 4.3.1 from the terminal at the moment, I gave myself the task of reinstalling JabRef 3.8.2 from my distribution's repository (Linux Mint 19.1), but now no menu or pop-up window is displayed, so I can't save changes, I can't create new databases, I can't adjust JabRef's options and I can't do practically anything.
I find this situation worrying since JabRef has been my bibliographic reference manager for years and it has never failed me as it has now and I urgently need to be able to solve it. If I run it from the terminal I get these error messages and warnings but I don't know about Java or how to solve it. Could someone help me with this?
