Ok sounds like a plan. I'll send a question on 2.8.5 release next to
the list, to see if anyone wanted to hold off for a particular fix.
I guess I should try to use bom 2.8.5 too, at least for some of
components if not all (it's quite a  bit of work, and most benefit
should be for users, not on core side).
