   Just tried the 10 & 8 MHz resonators again.  They also work!  I must
have had something else wrong when I checked with them.

  Summary of the tests is that the 9600 baud rates selected by the 
serial_software lib work with 20, 10, and 8 MHZ resonators.  The 4 MHz
resonators and internal clock do not.
