Be careful beginners on KiCAD. You can have a bad exerience in KiCAD
if you don't follow the tutorial first. Is small but at object. Is
included in package.
I use KICAD for a few years, and I just read the last version of this: I
think it's very well documented for begining, would be less difficult
for me if we get this when I start using it !
Is a pity to limit themselves to a limited edition of Eagle when we
can have access to a professional, multi platform, complete package
for free. Both for hobby and production.
