This shield looks like in some aspects to jallib/demo shield, which Richard
started to design. It combines many different parts to have fun with.

I think jallib/demo shield design is paused for now. Your shield could
replace it or some aspects may be merged, I don't know if it's possible
though. You can have a look at existing one to get some ideas if needed.
With a shield like this, you can experiment lots of things (in addition to
your controller/logger project), and is a very interesting base to write
tutorials and documentation.
