Perhaps the default value in the distribution should be changed from its current unlimited value to 2048kbytes or something reasonable. A 20MB email is inane. Did you try looking in var/mail/inboxes or var/outgoing to see if that huge message is still on your server? I tried sending an 11MB email yesterday with the latest CVS source and had no problems.
