Hello,
I am a new user of James. I successful install it, and it works very well
with my Outlook Express.
But I have also a Web program to check my email with a web browser, and I
have two little problem :
- first it say me that the mailserver (James) is not RFC compliant. I
investigate, and the reason is that the noop command always work with the
server.
But the RFC 1939 say that the noop command always work but only when the
user is log in.
- If I remove these check the program seems to go on deadlock. The reason
is that the RFC say that every result of a command ends with a single ".",
but James serveur ends all with a blank line.
I don't know how to contact the James's developper, so I hope there is one
on this mailing list.
It will be very fine if the mail server could be RFC Compliant.
Christophe
