What do we want in the next release?
So far in the main tree we have:
New Mailet API
TLS support for POP3 and RemoteManager
I would like to add, from the proposal tree,
1) The split UsersRepository (with the LDAP implementation in but noted
as experimental - until we get feedback on it)
2) The split MailRepository
(The proposals also need updating to the new Mailet API - I'll try to
look at that today)
I think we should leave the TLS support for SMTP to one side for now.
Is there anything else?
What do we want to call it? I think the new Mailet API probably
justifies a major release.
At some point, we need to upgrade to the new Avalon, which might also be
a major release for us. That could also be the time to do TLS SMTP.
I have started on IMAP, but that is some time away :-(
