Hi, I'm a Japanese major and I'm in my second semester of elementry Japanese. I would suggest that you get a Japanese text book that college students use and study from that. My class uses "Genki" and right now I'm in Genki 2. I'm actually not a really big fan of Genki, personally. Their grammar explainations are sometimes overly confusing, but I've been getting by with it. Our class relies heavily on the book, and most of our learning is done at home instead of class.
I've heard some people use the textbook "Youkoso". I can't really speak for it myself, but they said it was better than Genki. Also if you (or anyone else in the group) would like someone to practice with I'm available. ^_^ I'm not super-great yet, but I can hold a conversation more or less. I really need more grammar practice. Hope that helped some, -Teresa --- In [email protected], "Kureiton Kamuri" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I've been studying off and on for about 3 years.
