We had the same problem on a Solaris (sparc) server (with DB2). The
problem went away when we increased the limit on number of descriptors
(files) for the webserver process (also affecting the limit for mod_jserv
(right? and mod_jserv runs as a separated process?)).
Why? What it means? ... Don't know, except something isn't being cleaned
properly.
