>did you unzip/gzip it? did you rename it properly? Jon: Your question and the last line of the BIG RED warning got me thinking, so I went and checked the JServ conf file. Sure enough--the warning ways to rename the file Apache-JServ.jar, but the properties file has the following: wrapper.class=C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache JServ\ApacheJserv.jar. I renamed it to match the file name, and it looks like it started up OK. Thanks for the (indirect) suggestion.
