I've been using a much beefed-up version of Jef Poskanzer's Acme web server for development of the VolunteerMatch site since last fall, and others have been using it lately, including at least one outside user. It is compact, written 100% in Java, open source, written to be clean and simple as a development and self-education tool. The implementation centers exclusively on the JSDK 2.0 API, with all Web server functionality implemented as servlets on top of the JSDK implementation. It is known to run the GSP page compiler and another proprietary servlet that interprets template-oriented web pages. This server is also extremely easy to install. I can send a copy with installation documentation upon request. -- Cris Perdue Impact Online, Inc. http://www.volunteermatch.org ---------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives and Other: <http://www.working-dogs.com/> Problems?: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
