proxy server and Jserv

Hi,
        I had a question about apache proxy server and Apache Jserv
        interaction.

        I have compiled Apache Web Server with the proxy module to make
        it act like a proxy server. I have also compiled Jserv.

        How do I intercept the proxy server to divert the response 
        page to Jserv before sending it to the browser client?

        Any tips appreciated.

                Apache Version : 1.3.4
                Jserv  Version : 1.0b3
                OS             : Red Hat Linux 5.0
