I have recently installed Apache 1.3.6 and JServ 1.0b5 on my NT machine.
Thanks for the painless installation! I have a problem that is unique to
the NT machine. I cannot access the jserv status servlet; it tells me I
don't have permission (error 403). I have Apache 1.3.4 and JServ 1.0b1
running on my HP-UX workstation and I can access the status servlet with
no problem.
Another problem: I want to access the servlet engine on my PC from my
workstation server. I have added the mount point for the PC with full
URL path. The servlet engine on the PC is running since I can access the
test servlet with no problem. When I try to access the servlet from my
workstation the access will hang for a long time. Could being inside
the HP firewall be the problem?
BTW: the Faq-O-Matic server is currently down. I would have looked there
first.
Thanks for any help.
