I don't have any of such in my httpd.conf (generated by the
autoconfigure/make combo).

I had the impression that with a running server and changing something
in /home/kuku/ApacheJServ-1.0/example/jserv.properties suddenly
got effective as soon as I reloaded the servlet. Which would be in
contradiction to the statement that it becomes effective with the http
server start.
