Hello again... :-(

We're using the following:

ApacheJServ-1.0, Apache 1.3.6, Linux RedHat 6.0 (i386)

Apache/Jserv appears to start up OK (nothing in the logs to indicate
otherwise). However, when I try to load a test servlet, I get this in
jserv.log:

[30/07/1999 10:40:23:899] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host
127.0.0.1:9009
[30/07/1999 10:40:23:899] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: connection fail
[30/07/1999 10:40:23:899] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via
protocol "ajpv11"

I've looked in the FAQ about this, and it says there's probably a problem
with the JVM not starting up properly and to check my paths. So, I have the
following in jserv.properties:

wrapper.bin=/usr/local/jdk117_v3/bin/jre

wrapper.path=/usr/local

wrapper.classpath=/usr/src/linux-2.2.5/ApacheJServ-1.0/src/java/ApacheJServ.
jar
wrapper.classpath=/usr/local/JSDK2.0/lib/jsdk.jar

Any clues as to what might be wrong? I'm getting MIGHTY confused about how
to set this stuff up...

Jonathan
