i can personally attest to the fact that imho there is not better dev env
for servlet/server side work that ap+js. it is soooo easy to setup multiple
webservers/vmz ( once u learn which pitfalls to avoid, of course =)) that my
productivity has skyrocketed.

i run multiple ap+js on both nt and linux on different ports @ work and @
home. the only diff between the linux and windoze env that i have found is
that the windoze box has to be rebooted ( surprise, surprise) way 2 often. i
belive that the longest i have had it going was around 24 days.

granted, these installs r not in a production env, but imo a dev env can be
just as good an indicator of product stability as a prod env.
