Interesting, but it doesn't explain why I often (at least 50% of
the requests) don't get any response from the server. I'm no
longer getting the BindException. The output of netstat, with all
those sockets in the CLOSE_WAIT state doesn't look right. Has
anyone else running Linux 2.2.5 seen this?
They disappear after 'killall java'. It looks like JServ's
socket isn't being closed at the end of each request. It also
looks like apache's socket on port 80 isn't being closed.
Has anyone else seen this?
