in trying to fix my load balancing problem, i upgraded to the latest and
greatest 1.1.1.

my hardware is :

e450
solaris 2.7
two physical nics
and a bunch of virtual ips...

i have jserv binding (bindaddress=) to 192.168.1.170 which is qfe0:2 for
shits and giggles...

the error i am getting trying to use it is one i have never seen in oldr
versions..

this is in the jserv.log

[19/05/2000 12:25:24:626 EDT] Connections from
192.168.1.170/192.168.1.170 are not allowed

this is something i havent seen before.. is there something new /
different since 1.1b3 / 1.1 in the way it handles virtual hosts and how
it precieves incoming connections?

or am i reading this wrong...

the way i am reading this is :

an incoming connection to the jserv from .170 to .170 is not allowed..
is that correct?

and is there a certain portion of the config i shuold be loooking at?

there is nothing fancy about my config right other than i have the jserv
starting manually.. the error is the same if i have it start
automatically..
