woohoo.
ok got past the part of the security issues on 1.1.1 ...
we acutally have a fully load balancing, failover jserv / apache going
now!
i dont know if this is a misunderstanding of the last example in the faq
or if it is incorrect, but this is what we got out of it in a nutshell.
if you have two boxes, apaches on each, jservs on each
then in the jserv.conf you balance to the jserv instance on that box
only.
well, this would be incorrect bc if you end up on apache 1 with jserv 1
and jserv.conf on that box only has a balance for jserv1 and routes for
jserv 1 and 2, how could it ever rebalance to jserv2 after jserv 1 dies?
sooooooo we put in balances for both jserv instances and routes for both
in each jserv.conf and viola!
thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions...
and do i get a noprize for the documentation of the faq or did i misread
the last example?
if you look at the last example, shouldnt both apache a and b have
balance sets for all jservs?
